Two days at Cloud Native Days Romania: talks, workshops and hallway conversations about the platforms behind Romania’s digital future. We were there as Diamond sponsor, and on the keynote stage with one question: is Skynet already active?
Why we were there
CND 2026 brought together engineers, architects and technology leaders for talks, hands-on workshops and live demos. It is organised by volunteers from the community, for the community — and events like this one grow stronger when the companies that rely on open source stand behind them.
After a year as Gold sponsor, we chose to become the Diamond sponsor — the headline sponsorship of the third edition. Almost everything we build stands on software this community writes and maintains. We believe in it, and sponsoring the event is how we put that belief into practice.
For us, sponsorship is about more than a logo on the stage. It means showing up with our people and what they know — which is why two of our engineers delivered the keynote.

Behind the keynote
A different kind of stage. We met in telecoms, on projects serving millions of subscribers; today we design and run platforms at national scale. Delivering a keynote at Cloud Native Days Romania was a new challenge for both of us — and one we chose to take on.
We believe the community grows when practitioners share what they actually do. That is why we wanted engineers who build and run these platforms, not a sales pitch, on the stage.
So we prepared the way we prepare a production rollout: we wrote the story, cut half of it, rehearsed in front of colleagues who gave us honest feedback, timed it, refined it and ran it again.
