Romania has built its digital foundation: what completing the Government Private Cloud really means

Romania finalised its Government Private Cloud — a distributed platform across four data centres with more than 500 servers. Metaminds, the implementer, frames it not as a product but as a foundational capability for secure public-service delivery.

The infrastructure is built to keep services running continuously and to let the state migrate at least 30 applications by June 2026, changing how citizens interact with the administration.
